"The Heat Is On"

AHS Homecoming '09 is heating up fast. Activities are under way and the bonfire is scheduled for Wednesday evening. BBQ will begin at 7 p.m. on the front lawn at AHS. Spirit week has consisted of Pajama Day (Monday) and Twins Day (Tuesday). The rest of the week will be Wednesday-Favorite Team Day, Thursday-Western Day, and Friday is Blue, Red, & White Day.

The teachers had a chance to decorate their doors to show their support and the winner will be announced at the bonfire Wednesday night.

Friday there will be a homecoming parade beginning at 2:30 p.m. The classes/floats will leave the school and proceed to the middle of Axtell where homecoming candidates will perform skits created by the freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The King and Queen will be announced at the game Friday evening at 6:30 p.m.
